Monday fun...
On Mondays, I have Emme all day. As one can imagine, it's a challenge to keep her (and me) entertained. This past Monday was no different, but a series of challenges pressed me for ideas. First, our passes to Legoland just expired, plus the weather was kind of June-gloomy so the beach was out, and we were a bit burned on going to the park.
Now that Emme is 3 and has figured out what her dad does for a living, she's become pretty in-tune to the process. She's pretty aware of when a photo is being taken of her, and she knows the digital preview will show up on the back of the camera after the shutter clicks. So, in an effort to try something new to entertain her, I set up a gray seamless and a strobe on a boom and let her do her thing.

Claudia and Creighton--Breaker's Beach Wedding
Claudia and Creighton had their wedding this past Saturday at Breaker's Beach in Coronado. Claudia and Creighton are two of the most photogenic people I've ever had the chance to work with, and their wonderful, down-to-earth personalities made my job really easy.
The ceremony was performed by Pato Banton--yes, THAT Pato Banton. Back in high school I was really into reggae and ska, and I loved Pato's work with The English Beat. It was so cool to meet him. Pato also performed a few songs with the band, which had every guest on their feet and dancing.
