Monday fun...

On Mondays, I have Emme all day.  As one can imagine, it's a challenge to keep her (and me) entertained.  This past Monday was no different, but a series of challenges pressed me for ideas.  First, our passes to Legoland just expired, plus the weather was kind of June-gloomy so the beach was out, and we were a bit burned on going to the park.

Now that Emme is 3 and has figured out what her dad does for a living, she's become pretty in-tune to the process.  She's pretty aware of when a photo is being taken of her, and she knows the digital preview will show up on the back of the camera after the shutter clicks.  So, in an effort to try something new to entertain her, I set up a gray seamless and a strobe on a boom and let her do her thing.

John, these photos are beautiful! Your daughter is so expressive! I think I love the set of her dancing the best.

I LOVE this...I'm pretty sure some of these shots can be used for a "5-a-day" ad campaign or maybe a "Confidence: Pass it on" commercial.
