Farewell to Olyo's Pizza

After 20 years in business, Dave and Sue Olson closed Olyo's Pizza on October 20, 2006. An Encinitas landmark is gone.

My buddies and I spent many nights eating, drinking, and telling stories on their famed wooden benches. We did a lot of growing up at that restaurant, and it kind of feels like a piece of us is gone.

But not before one last pizza & beer bash! Good times had by all. As the old saying goes, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
