Pepe and Jordy's Engagement

I had the pleasure of photographing Pepe and Jordy's engagement photos last Saturday. We spent the afternoon in La Jolla, cruising the streets and alleyways, then headed down to the beach near Cuvier Park.

Pepe and I hit it off the first time we met, as Pepe and I share a passion for photojournalism.

The weather was perfect, and as such there must have been 4 or 5 different portrait sessions going on while we were there. I noticed that all of them remained completely stationary, posing the couple or family in the same place for the entire shoot. Why? It was a gorgeous day at a gorgeous place, why limit it?

We walked the length of the beach and shot until sunset. I think we were all exhausted by the end ;)
